Vinod Rai, the former Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG), has been appointed as the new chief of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) by the Supreme Court of India . He will head the 4-member committee of administrators to run the affairs of the BCCI. The committee consists of former women cricket captain Diana Edulji, historian Ramachandra Guha and IDFC CEO Vikram Lamaye. Apart from this, Amitabh Chaudhary of BCCI and Vikram Limaye will represent the Indian cricket board at the International Cricket Council (ICC) meeting in February 2017.

BHIM app - Union Government launched BHIM mobile application to make digital payments easier.It is an Aadhar based mobile app.The word BHIM stands for Bharat Interface for Money.BHIM app is inter-operable with Unified Payments Intefrace (UPI) and it connects directly to our bank accounts.BHIM is developed by National Payment Corporation of India.After installation we can register our bank account with BHIM.Our mobile number is our payment address.Money can also be sent to non UPI supported banks using IFSC and MMID.
BHIM has been downloaded more than 1 million times on the Google playstore.The app has received reviews from more than 80000 in just over three days of its launch,enenthough the app is only for android users.iOS and Windows version will be coming soon.
